2020 was the year we all felt like we'd finished Netflix. Memes of people staring at the "What do you want to watch?" screen became a cultural shorthand for a year that felt like it lasted a decade.
Rather than ignore the joke, we ran at it head-on. We Watched It All was a year-end musical celebration — a high-energy, genre-jumping recap of the most iconic and talked-about moments of a very cursed year. Co-created with Matt Buechele, AKQA and director Nadia Lee Cohen, the film leaned into the absurdity of 2020 in a way only Netflix could.
The campaign won a Cannes Lion (Bronze), Clio Gold and a D&AD Shortlist.
